I had an epiphany: the phenomenon I'm thinking of is a non-
standard case of suffixaufnahme (i.e., one that doesn't involve
the genitive). Now that I know that, does anyone happen to
have the book _Double Case: Agreement by Suffixaufnahme_
by Frans Plank?
