In gzb a literal translation of "part of speech" would yield gjâ-θy, language-element, which is actually lexicalized as meaning "morpheme". (Phoneme is fĭ-θy "syllable-element"; word is twâ-θy "sentence-element". "Part of speech" would be ĉĭ-twâ-θy "kind-sentence-element", I reckon.) -- Jim Henry http://www.pobox.com/~jimhenry/
