Well, in Hebrew, the dictionary gives: /Sokolada/.
The wrappers of two actual bars of the stuff,
from different companies,
sitting (temporarily ;-) ) here before me,
say: /Sokolad/ without the /a/ at the end.
I'd go with /Sokolad/ because that's how it's
actually used rather than what someone in high
places wishes it was.
BTW, the shortened form, /Soko/, usually refers
to chocolate drink, especially that derived from
powdered chocolate (and chemicals :-P ).
