*1 - the "uncolored" one. (AHDIER confirms it.) *1es-ti > *esti *2es-ti > *asti **3es-ti > *osti so *1 would be expected anyway. [Yes I have a habit of just writing just the number (in small print if possible) as *p2ter instead of *pH2ter.] *Muke!
