- No, no stegosauri involved :-) hmm... i wonder how you would translate _stegosaurus_ into a Tolkienic language, if any of them have the necessary lexemes... The _arassë_ is a hypothetical Quenya cognate of the Sindarin word _aras_, "deer" (roughly equivalent to my Hebrew name, Tzvi = some kind of gazelle/oryx creature). It was proposed by Didier Willis, of the Sindarin Dictionary Project. So Arasseríno isn't supposed to be 'Stephen', it's 'Tzvi-Stephen'. I got the Stephen=Ríno from a Quenya Baby Name webpage that you can find through the ELM link on Ardalambion. -Stephen (Steg) Rokbeigalmki name: Tzíhvi Quenya name: Arasseríno Sindarin name: Arasrî?
