Indeed. His poem _Jerusalem_ is engraved on 100 plates. Indeed, "illustrations" is misleading: Blake's text and Blake's images are completely interwoven. I strongly recommend Northrop Frye's book _Fearful Symmetry_ (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0691012911), the IMHO best single-volume introduction to Blake's poetry.
