Well, although I wasn't brought up multingual (but *could* have been), my mixed heritage has given me a 'multilingual brain'. Fellow conlangers will no doubt see this as a great advantage in this hobby. I'm guessing that I personally have about 4 language slots, currently filled with English, French, Japanese and 'Slavonic'. I did Russian at school, but visits to Czech and Poland have ensured that I will now never reliably speak any of those again. I know a fair number of words in each, but I have no way of telling which the words belong to. --- Fabian Rule One: Question the unquestionable, ask the unaskable, eff the ineffable, think the unthinkable, and screw the inscrutable.
