Interesting, but not suitable in my opinion. The idea
would be that most possible people understand the
symbol at once, without having to take a course before
! Especially when you have to communicate about some
danger, like in case of "take away from children".

It's nearly impossible for me to guess the
signification of any of these symbols if I haven't a
translation in front of them. For ex, I would never
had thought of "fish" when looking at the fish symbol,
while it is very easy to draw a stylized fish, so that
nearly everybody understands it at once. Even the
ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs seemed much easier to
read. This looks rather like some secret code. We're
looking for an open code.

Let's try again.

(BTW, some "French" translations on the site look
rather odd: "Il a detruit une dent pendant le combat":
what the hell does that mean ? ("he destroyed a tooth
during the fight" ???) maybe "one of his own teeth was
broken during the fight" (il a eu une dent cassee
pendant le combat), or "he broke somebody's tooth
during the fight" (il a casse une dent a quelqu'un
pendant le combat) ??? Not very clear anyway)
