Oops. Sorry, sometimes I express myself in a more provocative way than I actually intend to. I have nothing in particular against international auxlangs, although I don't believe very much in the idea, but I really admire those who did such an effort to create and advocate them. What I wanted to say about Esperanto, is that it does not meet my own personal taste for languages. This is a feeling that I have with most Romance-based auxlangs, in the case of Ido or Interlingua even worse. Volapük is, in my opinion, a nice exception; not a beautiful language, but definitely a funny one. It was not my intention to insult anybody; I apologize if I did. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe." --- J. Michael Straczynski __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
