I was about 20 or so (can't remember exactly when it was I read it), and I agree that it was great, but I don't think that at 13 I'd've enjoyed it.

Same here. Every so often, I pick it up and start again where I'd left off.

LOTR is one of the few fantasy books I've ever read. Magic and the like really doesn't usually appeal to me. -- "Their bodies did not age, but they became afeared of everything and anything.
