think I would have heard it :)) . ...you might hear it were you to hang around with wealthy women in fancy venues-- "Perhaps Madame would be interested in this Russian sable...?"-- "...And the Veuve Clicquot for Madame." --probably pronounced ['m&d@m] also, or [m@'dAm] depending on the level of fanciness/sophistication of the help.
