So, I gave my presentation on my Pidgins and Creoles project today, and
I added at the bottom a little note to look for my class on language
construction next semester, and this fellow came up to me who apparently has
been on CONLANG before! Does anyone remember him? He's at
talandor@yahoo.com and goes to Berkeley. He's thinking of joining the list
again, but he complained that he got off last time because of the <ahem>
"flood" of fifty to sixty messages per day. I didn't mention that I had 182
messages in my inbox this morning to him, so as not to put him off...
Note to Yoon Ha, Barry and Jon: He's also interested in a Conlang meeting
between Bay Area conlangers. It didn't work out this semester, but let's
really think about it for next.
