Now that I've got the time, I thought I might try a Tirełat translation. But it's been such a long time since I did any real development on the language -- recent work on Tirelat has been mainly trying to start getting the documentation in shape. I'm not sure how I would've said "let him be pitied" four years ago, so I'll just come up with something new. Mih tĕmrusatan, ni jĕširałaz pa jĕgavivun smav lih šyru u teptari u łat. mih t-mrusa-ta-n him/her 3s(gen.)-pity-deontic-perfective "Him one should pity" ni j-šira-ła-z pa j-gavi-vu-n who 3s-assume-(nonpast)-(imperfective) that 3s-exist-(hypothetical)-(perfective) "who assumes that there exists" smav lih šyru u tepta-ri u łat only one way of make-ing of language" "only one way of making language"
