I usually find myself pronouncing |fleishik| / |fleishig| as [flejSIx],
with a /x/.  |milxi(k/g)| is still [mIlxIk], though... probably because
the sequence [xIx] would be too weird...

As an aside, I just realized something. The yiddish "fleishig" or "meaty"
comes from the german from which stems the english "flesh." I never
