It might be more difficult to "whip up" a book about modern celtic language... ;-) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/189908200X/102-6517529-0502533 A Google search for "Marion Gunn" yields 871 hits. The majority of those pages appear to be linked to Celtic languages, or are written in Gaelic, or contain her e-mail address. It find it much more likely for Marion Gunn to be a real Celtic linguist with a fascistoid prejudice against conlanging than a freak who spends his life setting up an elaborate building of fictional identities just to troll us. Her post on Gaelic-L certainly qualifies as trolling (in the sense of "triggering a flamewar"), but to infer that she is doing that as a full time job with long-term purposes in mind strikes me as paranoid.

You know, there *are* treatments for the milder forms of paranoia nowadays. =P -- Christian Thalmann PS: We've pretty much beaten this topic to death by now. I suggest we drop it, lest we cook up more troll food.
